**Maratona di Pisa** is one of Italy's most scenic running events, held in the historic city of Pisa in the heart of Tuscany. The 27th edition takes place on December 20, 2026, featuring a marathon, the La Pisanina Half Marathon and a festive recreational run. The certified marathon course is included in the AIMS calendar, while its predominantly flat profile offers excellent opportunities for strong performances. Starting near the famous Leaning Tower, the route takes runners through Pisa's historic streets, the green surroundings of San Rossore and coastal communities before returning alongside the Arno River.
