Step 1 of 6 · Welcome

Hi, I’m Jacek 👋

Welcome to 42RunMap! I’d love to show you how to bring your running history together, discover races and create your own Runner ID.

No sign-in needed. We will start with an example story.

42 INDEX

Know the challenge before the start.

42 Index describes marathon difficulty using course, weather and altitude. Check its components and data availability in the catalogue — it describes the race, not the runner.

Compatible with Strava

Your runs. Your choice.

With your consent and authorization, we review your running activities and suggest race matches. You check them before saving. Revoke access in Profile; disconnecting starts deletion of data obtained from Strava.

Questions runners ask first

Do I need a Strava account?
No. You can add races by hand. Strava is a shortcut, not a requirement.
Can I add races from years ago?
Yes. Any date works — a marathon from 2011 lands on your map like yesterday's.
Can I browse races without an account?
Yes. The race calendar is open to everyone. You only need an account to save your own races.
What goes into a trip plan?
Lodging, flights, race pack pickup, start time and your own notes — all on the race itself.
Which of my data is public?
None by default. Your public profile stays off until you turn it on and choose what it shows.
