Cadbury Marathon is one of Australia's most distinctive running events, held in Claremont on the outskirts of Hobart, Tasmania. The race starts and finishes at the famous Cadbury chocolate factory and has welcomed runners for more than four decades. The programme includes a full marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K and a family-friendly 1K run. The marathon route takes participants through Cadbury Estate, alongside the River Derwent and across Bowen Bridge, offering scenic views of the waterfront, surrounding hills and Hobart's suburbs. The road course is gently undulating, with several noticeable climbs around the bridge and on the return to the factory. Its friendly atmosphere, Tasmanian scenery and chocolate-themed experience make Cadbury Marathon an appealing destination for runners who enjoy combining racing with travel.
