The race attracts thousands of runners from across Brazil and abroad, offering four distances: 5K, 10K, half marathon and marathon. The 2025 edition welcomed more than 16,000 participants, reflecting the event's growing popularity. The course takes runners through Curitiba's distinctive neighbourhoods, a city known for its green parks, innovative urban planning and remarkable architecture. Participants race along urban avenues, passing notable landmarks such as the Oscar Niemeyer Museum area and the city centre. Its varied elevation profile, featuring numerous climbs, together with the city's altitude of over 900 metres above sea level, makes the marathon a rewarding sporting challenge and an opportunity to explore one of Brazil's greenest metropolitan areas.
