The Brighton Marathon is one of the largest marathons in the UK, held every spring on England's south coast since 2010. It starts in Preston Park, runs through the city centre past the Royal Pavilion, out to the coast and along the seafront to a finish on Hove Lawns. The marathon is the centrepiece of a weekend that also includes a 10K and the free Brighton Miles for the whole family. With up to 20,000 participants and huge crowds, it is a real celebration of running by the sea.
