**Generali Berlin Half Marathon** is one of Europe's largest half marathons, held in the heart of the German capital. Its history dates back to the era of a divided Berlin, when separate races were organised on either side of the Wall. Following German reunification, the events were brought together, creating a half marathon that symbolises unity and a shared passion for running. Since 2024, the race has been part of the prestigious **SuperHalfs** series, featuring six European half marathons, with runners who complete all six earning the coveted SuperMedal. The fast, almost entirely flat course takes runners past Berlin's most famous landmarks, including the Victory Column, Charlottenburg Palace, Kurfürstendamm, Potsdamer Platz and Museum Island. The highlight is the spectacular finish just beyond the iconic Brandenburg Gate. Wide streets, excellent organisation and thousands of cheering spectators provide ideal conditions for personal bests, while offering a unique journey through the city's remarkable history.
