About the event

The ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon is a prestigious race in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, held since 2018 and holding a World Athletics Elite Label, the top tier below Platinum. The start and finish are at ADNOC Headquarters on Corniche Road, and the course passes the city's most iconic landmarks, including Wahat Al Karama, the World Trade Center, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Qasr Al Hosn palace, along the seaside Corniche promenade. The flat, fast terrain and ideal winter conditions attract both world-class elites and amateur runners, with a course record of 2:04:40 for men. The race weekend also features a relay, a 10K, and shorter 5K and 2.5K fun runs, while a week-long Fan Village opens before the main event with activities for the whole family.
